Hildebrand Ranches LLC
A family-owned and operated business on the Oregon Coast.
History of Hildebrand Ranches LLC

Our ranch began as a 160-acre homestead claimed in the 1880s by our ancestors. Five generations later with the sixth generation toddling around, our family has outlasted almost all of the original homestead families in the region. Our business is completely sustained by family members with our eldest rancher being 87 and our youngest nearing one. We have each found our niche in the business from lovingly raising our cattle to breaking dirt with our machines. Hildebrand Ranches LLC is a sustainable, trustworthy, longtime business that will continue serving southern Oregon.
Meet the Faces at Hildebrand Ranches LLC

In loving memory of Mary Hildebrand
The amazing woman who kept our bellies full of pie and a smile on our faces. A truly wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife. She is dearly missed.

Richard Hildebrand
At 87 years old, Richard is still caring for cattle on the smaller of our two ranches. You’ll often see him riding his four-wheeler around checking fences and cutting thistles.

Deb & Steve Kalina
Deb is Richard’s eldest daughter and has been involved in Hildebrand Ranches LLC her entire life. Since Deb and Steve’s marriage, they have worked endlessly to raise a family and complete the vast amount of work involved caring for 1,200 acres.

James & Megan Kalina
Zoë and Henry
James is Deb and Steve’s youngest child. He has been actively working on the ranch since a child. James has always been drawn to heavy machinery and as a child spent countless hours building roads in his sandbox. James has expanded Hildebrand Ranches LLC’s portfolio by providing excavation services. His wife Megan has her teaching license and is currently busy raising our next generation of ranchers.
